Sunday 2nd October the European project LIFE SAFEGUARD of which CAUTO is the implementing body will stop at lakes of Sovenigo, the appointment is at the Fior di Loto Restaurant in via dei Laghi 8 in Puegnago del Garda. Registrations will be open from 07:30 to 09:00.
At nine o'clock at environmental experts from CAUTO they will meet the participants and accompany them on an easy ecological walk of about 4 km to discover these precious and fragile places, telling about their biodiversity. During the walk, equipped with biodegradable gloves and bags, everyone will be able to participate in the collection of waste that could be encountered on the path.
In jargon it is called plogging the discipline born in Sweden in 2017 which consists of collect litter while running or walking: a sport that is good for you not only to those who practice it, but also to the environment! This activity combines physical exercise with cleaning of places: wherever you are, litter, cigarette butts, plastic and various garbage are the perfect loot of the plogger!
What better occasion to document the own sustainable gesture right on Lake Garda, and participate in the artistic contest One gesture for Me and one for the Environment.
