Brescia waters joined the Life Safeguard Committee, helping the dissemination of project objectives and stimulating the participation of local stakeholders.

With resolution 35/2016 of 28/10/2016, the Provincial Council of Brescia resolved to entrust the Integrated Water Service (consisting of the set of public services for the collection, supply and distribution of water for civil uses, sewerage and water purification wastewater) to the company Acque Bresciane Srl, a company with total public capital, which presents every subjective and objective prerequisite to ensure full compliance with the so-called model "In house providing".

On 14/10/2019 an agreement for the management of the integrated water service was stipulated between the Area Office of the Province of Brescia and Acque Bresciane Srl, in the optimal territorial area of the Province of Brescia.

Acque Bresciane Srl currently manages the aqueduct, sewerage and purification services in 94 Municipalities in the Province of Brescia, with a catchment area of approximately 560,000 inhabitants.

Acque Bresciane Srl applies the provisions of the legislative decree n. 33/2013 and amended by legislative decree n. 97/2016 on the disclosure and transparency obligations of companies with full public capital.
